Codes of Practice:

Most provincial, territorial, and federal occupational health and safety legislation require the employer to develop a Code of Practice for certain types of work that has a higher risk associated with it. Examples of work that would have a higher risk include working in confined spaces, working with chemicals, working with heights etc.

Code of Practice: A detailed list of procedures for workers to follow while performing their duties. The Code of Practice may be relatively basic or extremely comprehensive depending on the complexity of the work performed.
